About Me

Welcome to my webpage! My name is Ty Newman, and I am a Computer Science major at the University of North Florida. I have a strong passion for technology and problem-solving, with particular interests in systems programming and software development.

I'm originally from Florida and have always been fascinated by how computers work at a fundamental level. This curiosity led me to pursue Computer Science, where I've discovered my love for low-level programming and understanding the intricate details of how software interacts with hardware. In my free time, I enjoy working on personal coding projects and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Hobbies & Interests

One of my favorite hobbies is building and tinkering with computers. I love assembling custom PC builds, experimenting with different configurations, and optimizing performance. There's something incredibly satisfying about selecting the right components and watching everything come together to create a powerful machine. I also enjoy troubleshooting hardware issues and learning about new computer hardware innovations.

Beyond computers, I'm interested in sales and technology marketing. I find it fascinating how technical products are presented to consumers and how salespeople bridge the gap between complex technology and everyday users. I aspire to combine my technical knowledge with sales skills to help people make informed decisions about technology products. I also enjoy gaming, reading tech blogs, and exploring new software tools.

Education

My educational journey has been focused on building a strong foundation in computer science and technology. I am currently pursuing my degree at the University of North Florida, where I've had the opportunity to take challenging courses in systems programming, data structures, and software engineering.

My goal is to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and eventually work in a role that combines technical expertise with customer interaction, such as technical sales or solutions engineering. I believe that understanding both the technical and business sides of technology will make me a valuable asset to any organization.
